This policy explains how Saldivo collects, uses and protects personal data when you use saldivo.com and the Saldivo platform, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect
- Information you give us — account details, business and contact information, and correspondence with our team.
- Payment and identity data — processed by our regulated partners (Stripe, Yapily) and our identity provider (Certivus). Saldivo never sees or stores raw card numbers.
- Usage data — pages visited and interactions, collected via analytics only where you have consented (see Cookies below).
How we use your data and our lawful bases
- To provide and operate the platform — performance of a contract.
- To secure, maintain and improve the service — legitimate interests.
- For analytics and product measurement — consent.
- To meet accounting, tax and anti-money-laundering obligations — legal obligation.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies. Analytics (Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode, and Microsoft Clarity) load only after you accept via our cookie banner; decline and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Who we share data with
We share data only with processors that help us run the service: Stripe and Yapily (regulated payment rails), Certivus (identity verification), Google and Microsoft (consented analytics), and our hosting provider. Each acts under a data-processing agreement. We never sell personal data.
Retention
We keep account and transaction records for at least seven years to meet UK tax record-keeping requirements. Analytics data is retained for a shorter period in line with the provider’s settings.
International transfers
Production data is hosted in the UK or EU. Where a processor transfers data outside the UK/EU, it does so under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these, contact privacy@saldivo.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
